Optometry School Application Letter
non many people seize on the time to seriously get hold of themselves Where do I resonate myself in the future? merely as I am writing this essay, I am asking myself that very question, and my answer is that I see myself as an ophthalmologist. However I did not begin to seriously cast it as a course choice until my vex was diagnosed with sculpture disease. During an eye exam, the optometrist had observe that my mothers look were bulging out, exophthalmos, which is a sign of an overactive thyroid gland. The optometrist was able to diagnose my mother with Graves disease clean by looking at the wellness of her eye and it was this hap that sparked my interest in the content of optometry and my desire to become an optometrist. This resultant opened up my eyes to the expanding field of optometry where optometrists are at one time not only analyze diseases of the eye, but also diagnosis systemic diseases that affect the health of the eye.\nI pitch prove vision science to be an area where both my gifted and societal interests overlap, and I have pursued my education on the pre-med academic route.
